Mr. Calleja is the Senior Managing Partner and the head of the Firm’s Litigation Department. His practice areas include civil and criminal litigation, constitutional and election law, environmental law, energy law, telecommunications and media law, and labor and employment law.
Mr. Calleja also handles a broad range of cases involving corporate law and has provided corporate compliance and advising services to clients of both domestic and international corporations. He previously served as director and trustee of St. Lukes Medical Center College of Medicine and corporate secretary of Mary Mediatrix Medical Center. he also served as legal counsel for the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPRCV) and the Legal Network for Truthful Elections (LENTE). At present he serves as director in several companies and is also a professor at the Ateneo Law School and La Salle Law School and is also a lecturer for mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) in Civil Law and Election Law.
Mr. Calleja received his Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo Law School. He also earned a certificate in International Law at The Hague Academy of International Law and his Master of Laws degree from Duke University School of Law in North Carolina USA. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1995 and to the New York State Bar in 2005.
